Anker Launches Soundcore Nebula X1 Pro: The Ultimate 7.1.4 Dolby Atmos Party Projector

Anker has taken its ultra-bright and compact Nebula X1 projector and turned it into a powerhouse entertainment system—the Soundcore Nebula X1 Pro. Debuting at IFA 2025, this Google TV-powered party projector is housed in a sizable 30 x 17 x 13.5-inch chassis and weighs a hefty 72.4 pounds. To keep things mobile, Anker has thoughtfully included a retractable handle and wheels.

At the heart of the system is a 160W subwoofer that promises “chest-thumping bass”. Ingeniously, it floats within the unit to eliminate vibrations that might distort the 4K image. For audio immersion, two 80W soundbar speakers can swing out from either side or be detached and placed in front of the room. Add two 40W wireless rear satellite speakers, and you’ve got yourself a 7.1.4 Dolby Atmos surround sound setup—a first for any portable projector.

The X1 Pro also doubles as a Bluetooth speaker when all you need is audio. However, don’t expect much from upward-firing Atmos effects when you’re outdoors.

In terms of visuals, the core projection system remains unchanged from the Nebula X1: a triple-laser, 3,500 ANSI lumen light engine, motorized swivel mount, all-glass lens, optical zoom, and ultra-quiet operation. What’s new is IP43 weather resistance, offering some protection from dust and light rain.

The Soundcore Nebula X1 Pro is expected to launch on Kickstarter on September 22, priced between $4,000–$5,000, with wider availability coming in March 2026.
