Sony has introduced two new Dolby Atmos soundbars for 2025: the Bravia Theater Bar 6, which includes a wireless subwoofer, and the Bravia Theater System 6, a full surround sound setup.
Both models support multiple sound modes, including Dolby Atmos and DTS:X, and feature Sony’s Voice Zoom 3 for enhanced voice clarity. They can be controlled via the Bravia app or directly through compatible TVs, such as the new Bravia 8 II.
The Bravia Theater Bar 6 is a 3.1.2-channel soundbar with a dedicated center channel and a wireless subwoofer. It can be expanded into a 5.1.2 system when paired with Sony’s Bravia Theater Rear 8 stereo speakers.
The Bravia Theater System 6 is a 5.1-channel all-in-one sound system that Sony describes as a “home theater in a box.” It includes a subwoofer and rear speakers, with Dolby Atmos simulated through digital sound processing due to the absence of up-firing speakers.
Sony has a strong reputation for producing high-quality, feature-rich soundbars, though they often come at a premium price. Pricing and availability will be announced later this spring.
