OnePlus has expanded its product portfolio with two major launches on Thursday—the global debut of the OnePlus Pad 3 and the introduction of the OnePlus 13s smartphone in India. While the Pad 3 hasn’t arrived in Indian markets yet, its global price of $700 positions it as a strong competitor to tablets from Samsung and Apple. Here’s a detailed look at both devices:
OnePlus 13s: A Premium Smartphone with AI Features and a New ‘Plus Key’
The OnePlus 13s brings a refreshed design language and flagship-grade hardware to the Indian market. It sports a 6.32-inch 1.5K LTPO AMOLED display with a dynamic refresh rate ranging from 1Hz to 120Hz, and brightness peaking at 1,600 nits. The screen is protected by Crystal Shield Glass, and the phone carries an IP65 rating for dust and water resistance.
One of the standout changes is the replacement of the iconic alert slider with a customisable “Plus Key”. This programmable button allows users to quickly access features such as the camera, flashlight, favourite apps, or sound profiles.
Powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, the OnePlus 13s includes a 5,850mAh battery with 80W SuperVOOC fast charging. It runs on OxygenOS 15, based on Android 15.
AI plays a major role in the new experience. Built on Google’s Gemini AI model, OnePlus introduces an AI Plus Mind engine that can remember and manage contextual data. Other AI tools include on-device translation and camera enhancements for better content creation.

The OnePlus Pad 3 is the brand’s most powerful tablet to date, designed to balance entertainment and productivity. It features a 13.2-inch high-resolution display, making it larger and sharper than Apple’s 11-inch iPad Air. At under 6mm in thickness, it is sleek yet substantial in performance.
It is powered by the same Snapdragon 8 Elite chip found in flagship smartphones, offering fast multitasking and gaming capabilities. The tablet is equipped with a 12,140mAh battery, promising up to 17 hours of video playback and 6 hours of intensive gaming.
