Sony India has officially launched its Bravia 8 II QD-OLED TV series, bringing advanced QD-OLED display technology, XR cognitive processing, and Dolby Vision & Dolby Atmos integration to Indian consumers. The new series promises a premium, cinematic home entertainment experience.
Advanced Visual & Audio Technology
Powered by Sony’s XR processor with AI, the Bravia 8 II enhances visuals and audio in real time—delivering vivid colours, deep blacks, and immersive contrast. Thanks to QD-OLED technology, each pixel emits its own light, resulting in enhanced detail, accurate colour reproduction, and rich shadow depth.
Key Features:
- XR Contrast Booster for dynamic control over bright and dark areas
- XR Triluminos Max for an expanded, vibrant colour palette
- Acoustic Surface Audio+ transforms the screen into a speaker, syncing audio direction with on-screen motion
- QD-OLED panel delivers cinematic clarity and true-to-life visuals
Optimised for Gaming:
Gamers will benefit from support for 4K at 120fps, Variable Refresh Rate (VRR), and Auto Low Latency Mode (ALLM). When paired with a PS5, the TV automatically activates Game Mode to reduce input lag and enhance clarity in fast-moving scenes.
Streaming Experience:
The TV comes pre-calibrated with modes for Netflix Adaptive, Prime Video, and Sony Pictures Core, aligning picture quality with the filmmaker’s intent. Buyers also receive 10 complimentary credits to stream 4K HDR and IMAX Enhanced titles via the Sony Pictures Core app.
